15 of the Most Evil Athletes

15 of the Most Evil Athletes
If absolute power corrupts and money is power, then some of our star athletes may be more evil than Dick Cheney on a pheasant hunting trip at the PETA headquarters. Here are 15 athletes that may one day be party of Satan’s fantasy league.

1. “Fast Eddie” Johnson
“Fast Eddie” Johnson (not to be confused with Eddie Arnet Johnson) was a 3rd round draft pick for the Atlanta Hawks. His NBA career spanned a decade, but when he couldn’t kick his drug habit he was kicked off his last team, the Seattle Supersonics. With a rap sheet longer than a Shaq bodysuit, after 100 arrests and going in and out of prison, he was eventually convicted of burglary, sexual battery and the molestation of an 8-year-old girl.

2. Ben Kramer
Powerboat racer, Ben Kramer, apparently let power go from his boat to his head when he ordered the assassination of his rival, Don Aronow. Aronow was killed by a convicted killer, kidnapper and cocaine trafficker named Bobby Young. Kramer attempted to escape prison in 1989 with a helicopter, but crashed. Apparently, smuggling the pieces into the prison one buttload at a time can really mess up your helicopter.

3. Leslie Hylton
Cricket might be a gentlemen’s sport, but not only gentlemen play it. It was also played by Leslie Hylton who, in 1954, shot his wife seven times after she admitted to cheating on him. Leslie was convicted and eventually hanged for the murder.

4. Hiroshi Ogawa
This retired Japanese pitcher for the Nippon Professional Baseball was deeply in debt. Rather than endorse used car lots and Just For Men, he robbed the chairman of an industrial waste plant of 1.75 million Yen. In the process, he drowned the chairman’s 67 year-old housekeeper in a lake. How did the Yankees miss this one?

5. Bruce Kimball
Olympic Diver and silver medalist, Bruce Kimball, was convicted of manslaughter after driving his car drunk into a group of teenagers. Two boys died and he was sentenced to 17 years, although the French Judge only gave him 16.8.

6. Bruno Souza

Bruno allegedly ordered that his pregnant, porn star girlfriend be killed, chopped up and then fed to Rotweilers. The star goalie from Brazil is said to have enlisted the aid of his 17-year-old cousin in the kidnapping and an ex-police officer to strangle her. They would’ve gotten away with it, but the duo kept yelling “Goooooaaaal!” after every crime.

7. Rae Carruth
Rae Curruth was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder against his pregnant lover in his car after going on a date to the movies in 1999. Doctors saved the child, but could not save the Carolina Panthers’ season that year. Carruth is serving a 19-year and-11 month sentence in North Carolina.

8. Mark Rogowski
Pro skateboarder, Mark “Gator” Rogowski stunned that non-sport world with the horrific rape and murder of his ex-girlfriend. After breaking up with aspiring model, Jessica Bergsten, Rogowski stalked her, knocked her out, raped, killed her and buried her body in the desert. He eventually confessed and was sentenced to 31 years in prison, a place which, he must imagine, would be awesome to skateboard in. A movie about his rise and fall called Stoked, was made in 2002.

9. Robert Rozier
This former 1980′s St. Louis Cardinal joined a bizarre cult called “The Brotherhood”. Part of the initiation involved killing a white man. Rozier confessed to killing seven and served 10 of his 22 years after agreeing to testify against the cult. However, sometime after his release in late 90′s, he was caught passing bad checks for the third time and was sentenced to 25 years in jail. Oh, sure, go ahead and kill people, but try and mess up your bank and you’ll go to jail for a long time, buddy!

10. Esteban DeJesus
Esteban was a light weight champion boxer who boxed with Robertos Duran. He killed a 17-year-old teenager over a traffic dispute Thanksgiving weekend in 1981. He went on to be a star baseball player in the Puerto Rico penal system and a drug addict. He died of AIDS in 1989 before Congress could drag him to Washington to testify about Barry Bonds.

11. Bertil Fox
Convicted of the double murder of his model girlfriend and her mother, this former Mr. Universe has been in jail since 1998. He narrowly avoided the death penalty, which was a win-win, since the lethal injection needle could never pierce all those muscles. So far, he has not lifted the side of the prison in an attempt to escape, but it’s just a matter of time.

12. Michael Vick
Michael Vick was allegedly a heavy weight in the dog fighting circuit, betting thousands of dollars of dog fights. He pleaded guilty to federal charges and served two years in jail. Philadelphia fans, being the worst football fans in the world, eventually wound up with Vick when he returned to quarterbacking.

13. Darryl Henley
This Los Angeles Ram must’ve watched Scarface too many times. He was eventually convicted of cocaine trafficking and ordering a hit on a judge and a witness. Darryl was sentenced to 41 years in prison, where he currently runs his website and probably wishes he watched Al Pacino in something else.

14. Evangelos Goussis
Goussis was the World Kickboxing Middleweight Champion in the early 90′s. This Australian boxer and kickboxer was also a hitman for the local mob. Convicted of two killings and a suspect in a third, Goussis is serving a life term with no Foster’s or shrimp for his barbie.

15. O.J. Simpson
You may not have heard of O.J. if you spent 1994 and 1995 in a coma. Still looking for the “real killers”, O.J. is also guilty of making terrible movies and making sports reporters actually report news. He is currently serving part of a 33-year-sentence for kidnapping and armed robbery stemming from a Las Vegas incident involving sports paraphernalia.
