I have compiled a list of 21 interesting facts that you may have not known about the country star. 


21. She is from Wyomissing, Penn. This is also the hometown of reality-dad Jon Gosselin.


20. She is super tall, standing at 5′ 11″.


19. In fourth grade, Swift won a national poetry contest with a poem called ‘Monster in My Closet.’ The first three lines read: “There’s a monster in my closet and I don’t know what to do / Have you ever seen him? / Has he ever pounced on you?”


18. She loves 1940s and ’50s-inspired swimsuits.


17. Like so many teens today, Swift was a victim of bullying in school. She dealt with this pain by writing songs about her feelings.


16. She learned her first three guitar chords at the age of 10. Her teacher: A computer repairman named Ronnie who was fixing her family’s computer.


15. She drives a Toyota that she nicknamed the ‘Toyoat.’


14. At the age of 12, she dedicated her whole summer to writing a 350-page book. The book has never been published.
